The project is set in a privileged urban and natural environment on Calle Viamonte in Chacras de Coria, on a plot, located in the heart of the block, that previously housed a traditional casona. The proposal integrates contemporary architecture while respecting the context, both in terms of landscaping and architectural heritage, by expanding and renewing the existing building. Seven independent villas were strategically designed and distributed throughout the extensive gardens, carefully preserving each species of the property's diverse and mature trees. This approach is complemented by a landscape design that enhances the area's characteristic microclimate, fostering a harmonious balance between architecture and nature. The original casona was expanded respecting its architectural style, repurposing it to house common areas for guests and service spaces. The villas were built with polished concrete structural walls that close them to the exterior, while the internal partitions use EPS panels of the cassaforma type, a system that guarantees optimum acoustic performance against airborne and solid noise. In addition, the curved exterior walls, which provide privacy to the rooms, were built with volcanic stone from the area of San Rafael, Mendoza, a detail that gives the project a unique and distinctive character. The selection of materials was carried out with special care, prioritizing the highest quality and ensuring seamless integration between the new constructions and the existing building. The project strengthens the area's high-end residential character, maintaining large green spaces with their centennial trees. Additionally, it promotes international tourism, boosting local economic activities and adding prestige and recognition to both Chacras de Coria and Luján de Cuyo.
